Eugene Franklin Kardos Sr.
October 14, 1951 - March 29, 2017
March 29th, 2017 6pm, Gene lost his battle with his health problems and went home to be with our Lord and Savior. Born in Houston Texas, and raised in California, Gene moved to Big Bear Lake and met his soul mate Deborah Kardos, they moved to the High Desert and was married at the Church of Latter Day Saints. Their love for each other was for 30 wonderful years. Gene was in the U.S. Army, 3rd Armored Division for 8 years as a Test and Evaluator, Drill Sargent, Helicopter and Generator technician, and was Honorably Discharged, He was stationed at Fort Knox Kentucky and also in Germany. Gene was also an Automotive Instructor at Victor Valley College and after teaching became the business owner of Victor Valley’s Smog service and Repair for 14 years. He enjoyed and loved all of his Grand children and thought of all of them frequently even if he hadn’t heard from them for a while. He enjoyed computer gaming, computer technologies, camping at “The Property”, fishing, boating, he loved his Harley Davidson trike, Above all was his love for family and life. He was a man of deep passion for everything he did and appreciated life. He was there for people who were less fortunate and helped them by teaching them and training them at the shop , where many went on to better themselves in higher positions at other jobs and he was never upset when they left because they were leaving as better people from what he had taught them. He is survived by his wife Deborah L Kardos, Sisters Lisa Lee Ann Waites, Ann Denise Logan, Deanna Lynn Fifita, his Children Shawn Kardos, Samuel Kardos, Gene Kardos Jr., Pamela Jameson, Grand Children, Warren Kardos, Brody Kardos , Mackenzie Kardos, Allison Kardos, Regan Kardos, Dylan Glover, Dakota Nicole Kardos, Earin Jameson, Isabella Jameson, Nieces Natalie Esquerdo, Tatiana Waites, Kyligh Logan, Miranda Ridley, Nephews Cole Logan, James Logan, Brandon Logan, Trenton Ridley, Gene was Proceeded in death by his Mother Joy Ann Waites and His brother William Kardos I have loved this man with all my heart and I will miss him so very much, I feel so lost without him..
