Herman was a loving son, the eldest of three siblings, an uncle, grandson, and a relative to many. Herman was an administrative leader and a man of vision. He had a great compassion for others that showed greatly throughout his life. Herman was always there to lend a helping hand in any situation. Whatever you needed at that time, he always would provide wisdom and guidance to help you through. Herman was a selfless person that would put his life on hold to help make your life better. That was another passion in his life. Herman had the gift and ability to converse with the intellectual as well as with the common man making them both feel equally valued. This gift and ability was what made you feel comfortable in his presence. As a little child, Herman had an extreme passion for cars. He loved to sit in the drivers seat behind the wheel. He even started shifting the gears in his mom's stick shift 1976 Ford Pinto. He knew the sound of the gears and could change gears exactly when needed. This passion lasted well into his adult years. Herman also had a passion for success. He began to work at Eat A Burger at a very young age and started from the first position he was offered and ended up the manager of that store in a very short time. This passion never stopped as he went on to do great things in his then chosen profession of food service. Every life that Herman interacted with learned how compassionate and loving he truly was. Herman loved to laugh and was usually the initiator of that laughter. He knew how to use that laughter to lighten up the atmosphere. He knew how to make you feel important and he knew how to lead you in the right direction when needed. A wonderful son, great brother, grandson, loving uncle, and relative to all he knew. God truly blessed us with Herman and though his life was short on this earth, his legacy and greatness has impacted us all and will last forever.
