December 7, 1963 - June 16, 2016
Jimmy “Jim” Ray Bowerman was born in Anaheim, CA on December 07, 1963. He was raised by his single mother Marian and brother Gary. As he grew he developed a big entrepreneurial drive. At the young age of seventeen Jim opened his first business alongside his brother, owning and operating an ice-cream store. He went on to try and succeed in many business endeavors with his final entrepreneurial success being Inland Vault and Security in Riverside, CA. He had many incredible talents with some notable skills such as, juggling, uni-cycling, and understanding the inner workings of many locks and vault doors. Apart from being accomplished he was also magnanimous. He was the type of individual that would willingly give the shirt off his back to a person in need. In his early 20’s he had the first symptoms of MS, with it returning with full vengeance in his mid 30’s. For the past 16 years Jim has fought the toughest and bravest fight against MS. He passed on June 16, 2016 in Victorville, CA. He is survived by his wife Fran, his children Scott and Brittany, his brother Gary Dershem, his in-laws Glen and Rose Marie Dewey, his sister and brother in laws Kathy and Eddie Evans, Diana and Robbie Hayes, Chris Whitmore, and an abundance of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. Services will be held for Jim at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary on Wednesday the 22nd 2016 starting at 9:00AM.
