Judith Ann Caldwell
September 6, 1940 - February 15, 2018
Judith Ann Caldwell 77, of Centralia, Washington entered into rest on February 15, 2018, after suffering from pneumonia. Her daughters, Marilyn and Lisa Caldwell, were at her bedside when she passed. Also by her bedside were Rudy and Carmela Manzo, just 2 of her dear long time friends. Judy Caldwell was a native of California, being born in Mentone, Ca. and growing up in the San Bernardino Valley and beautiful mountains. She graduated High School from Rim of the World High School prior to enlisting in the Air Force in 1958. In 1959, she married Richard Caldwell of Peoria, Illinois, and together they raised three children, making their home in Rialto, California. As a family they enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding, and traveling across the states to Illinois and visiting family. They had many friends and family that they spent good times with. After the children were grown, Judy and Dick moved to Spring Valley Lake in the High Desert. They lived there until Richard’s passing in 2002. During her life, Judy made a career out of working for the San Bernardino Gas Company lasting 32 years. She liked her work very much, and enjoyed being outdoors as she worked. She formed many wonderful lifelong friendships with her coworkers and still enjoyed visiting with them up until the time of her passing. In 1998, she retired from the Gas Company and moved to Centralia, Washington to be with her mother and sister. She loved the smell and gentleness of the rain that would come often there. She would sit on her balcony and look out on Mt. Hood and all it’s beauty. She particularly liked the sound of the wind blowing in the pine trees. Judy also loved sharing stories, reading, playing cards, word search puzzles, and laughter. She was a loving wife, a good mother, a faithful daughter, a kind sister, and a wonderful Aunt and grandmother. She was a Christian who loved the Lord with all of her heart, and enjoyed sharing daily devotions with her sister Jean. Judy was preceded in death by her father Lyndon Myers, her mother Elsie Myers, her sister Marilyn Noblitt Poe, brothers Rodney and Roger Myers and her nephew Dale Touvre. She is survived in death by her three children Marilyn Caldwell of Victorville, Richard Caldwell of Victorville and Lisa Caldwell of Phoenix, Arizona. She was blessed to have numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her very much. Her surviving sister, Jean , was her best friend and will miss their daily chats. Services will be held to celebrate her life on March 10, 2018 at 5PM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley, California. A reception will follow at Mama Carpino’s in Apple Valley from 6:30 until 8:30PM where dinner will be served.
